The
creation of Fireworks
Amalie
has been designing unique glass jewelry since she was 7
years old. She grew up helping her mother with the
family glass sculpting business called Flamework
Glass.
Now
with the support of her young family in New Mexico she
has begun her own glass fusing business called Fireworks.
Working
with the beautifully vibrant but fickle colors of Dichroic
glass combined with various colors of stained glass,
Amalie fuses them together in her kiln at temperatures reaching
1500 degrees to form the luminous, eye catching pendants.
Carefully matching glass and crystal beads to each dichroic
pendant, she forms each piece.
Amalie's quality checks are rigorous for strength and
durability.
